CasaVella Hostel is a place of welcome for anyone looking for rest and restoration in the interior of Galicia halfway between Santiago and Fisterra. We are 33 km from Santiago de Compostela (11.5 km after Negreira).
It was formerly one of those eating houses that, run by our great-grandparents, welcomed those who came to share a plate of broth and a glass of wine at the foot of the lareira and those pipotes "abillados para delicia de padais e reunión de consellos" paraphrasing Castroviejo. That same spirit of welcome and peace is what we want to offer today to travelers who come to Vilaserío from all over the world.
Casa Vella Hostel is not exclusive for pilgrims but it is mainly intended to accommodate them on their way from Santiago to Finisterre.
In Casa Vella we have a kitchen for free use, as well as a traditional cooking service, using mainly natural and organic ingredients, also homegrown and native.
