O Cándido pilgrim hostel is located in the town of San Román da Retorta, O Castrelo neighborhood (next to the canteen), one of the stages of the Primitive Way between the towns of Lugo and Melide.

16 places in bunk beds: ideal for pilgrims looking for an economical option.
2 beds adapted for people with disabilities: so that everyone can enjoy the Camino.
5 private rooms with individual bed and bathroom: for those who are looking for more privacy and comfort.

The hostel building has been recently restored, so much so that it has been inaugurated for its activity as such on August 23, 2011. The management of the hostel O Candido is private and aims to meet the increasing demand for accommodation in the area, due to the increase in the number of pilgrims who make the Camino de Santiago by the route of the Camino Primitivo. It also offers the option of homemade food, for a complete stay.
